You can’t win at keno if you don’t play. Fortunately, learning to play keno is pretty simple. On your display screen you’ll be given a keno ticket with the numbers between 1 and 80. Each number is referred to as a spot. Depending on where you play you can pick anywhere between 1 and 20 spots on the card.
After you’re done choosing your spots (numbers) you’ll place your bet. Once your spots are chosen and your bet is placed 20 numbers are chosen at random from the pool of 80 numbers and these numbers will display on your screen. You will then check to see if any of your spots matched any of the 20 numbers randomly selected.
Payouts are dependent on the amount you bet and the number of spots you selected that match the 20 randomly selected numbers. The more spots you choose to play that result in matching the 20 randomly selected numbers, the bigger the payout. If you select a large amount of spots you’ll usually have to match a high amount of randomly selected numbers for a minimum payout.
