The ABL playoffs are upon us creating a great opportunity for the Aussie punter to get in a few bets before the end of the season. What team do you expect to go all the way?

The Brisbane Bandits will win the championship this year. I’m obviously not certain of this but they are leading the league right now. Even though they don’t have the best record this season they seem to be getting better working as a team as the season goes on. Justin Williams is playing really well this season. I think if Bennett just picks up his game a little they stand really good odds to win. Anyone that has looked at the league record knows that there isn’t one single team that stands out above the rest. They all have significant losses. Fortunately they same teams play each other several times so you can build really solid statistics in the ABL for betting. That’s one of the big reasons I even bet in the ABL. I’ve never even been much of a baseball fan until I realized there are some really solid betting numbers you can create for baseball betting.

Maybe I’m just being paranoid but with smaller leagues like the ABL I always worry about games being rigged. If you think about it, they can’t afford to have one team dominating the other 7 teams. No one would watch. It’s tough to keep people interested watching the same teams play each other over and over again as it is. Maybe things aren’t rigged but usually you’d find at least one team pull away from the pack with their win/loss ration either with a large number of wins or losses each season. If any of the games are rigged it would be ace to find an inside man 😉

    cheers

Same ol’ conspiracy theory I read in every sports betting forum.
